Fall Minis are officially open for booking, which means it’s time to look bak on last years Fall sessions in the woods. I don’t specifically plan my Fall minis around trees with changing leaves (They’re either way up high in a mature tree or on the ground, which means that anything other than a wide shot gives me a tree bark background - not my favourite ;) ). Instead I am a sucker for golden, overgrown grasses and Autumn wildflowers. I loves these sessions and cannot wait to be back in this same location for Fall Minis again this year.

Gail and Alex planned such a lovely Autumn wedding, starting with a ceremony at the beautiful St-Luke's in-the-Garden Chapel and ending with a reception at the Elm Hurst Inn & Spa, one of my favourite venues here in Southwestern Ontario. The Fall colours were on full display, and I absolutely loved the contrast of the elegant black bridesmaids dresses against the stunning ruby and peach-toned florals. Emily and Mike first connected through local theatre, and it is on stage that Mike proposed. It was only fitting, then, to return to their beloved theatre in Woodstock for a few engagement photos before heading out to the woods to take advantage of the beautiful colours and golden hour light.
