"What a lovely surprise to finally discover how unlonely being alone can be." - Ellen Burstyn When I stumbled upon this quote, I felt it perfectly embodied my feelings about this theme. I feel like the word "alone" tends to elicit sad, lonely feelings. But I really wanted to capture how being alone with your thoughts can be a serene, peaceful experience. I used the red balloons against the snowy field to represent how beautiful thoughts can drastically change the stark landscape of a lonely heart.
